Release Date, Preview, Watch Online

The sixth episode of Paripi Koumei picks up exactly where the fifth one had left us, right in the midst of a heated battleground with the only caveat being that one of the two warring parties is still unaware of that the fact that the battle had already begun.

Kongming successfully draws out Kabetaijin to BB Lounge, the club where the club owner is hosting a rap battle on his behest.

As one would expect, everything goes exactly as Kongming had planned and Kabe, finally giving in to his primal urge for rap, gets back on the floor for a legendary rap battle against one of history’s finest tacticians and quite possibly one of Japan’s finest freestylers.

Episode 7 Speculations

Towards the end of the episode it was revealed that all of this was perfectly planned out by our lovely Kongming and executed perfectly with the help of the shady fan and the unsuspecting bartender (who could’ve guessed).

All of this results in Kabetaijin joining forces with Eiko and Kongming with the ultimate goal of fulfilling Eiko’s dreams. With this new addition, Kongming’s plan to get Eiko’s “Pinstagram” up to 100K likes will finally be set in motion.

We could finally get to see what new stratagem this wily “old” man might employ to achieve this herculean task.

Episode 7 of Ya Boy Kongming! will be released as per schedule. No delay has been announced.

Episode 6 Recap

The episode starts off with Kabe heading into BB Lounge with the intention of getting a sneak peek at the event as he was quite boldly invited by Kongming towards the end of the fifth episode.

Unable to suppress his curiosity, Kabe heads into the club where one rap battle has just ended and Eiko steps onto the stage as a fill-in singer. Kabe orders a drink but is soon completely enchanted by her music as it is the very same song that he listened to during his high school years.

The music transports him, and in turn, us, into a flashback to the tried and tested support character backstory in anime.

A high school kid with nothing special discovers his talent through one of his mates and then goes on the become the absolute best in that art. It’s a cookie-cutter but honestly, it fits Kabe’s character quite well.

The song ends and his memories bring him back to reality where he feels that same gut-wrenching pain that pushed him away from rap in the first place and decides to leave, but Kongming had other plans.

Atop a rather suggestive golden throne, pops up Kongming with star-shaped sunglasses on and throws the limelight on Kabetaijin, quite literally challenging him to a rap battle, and Kabe being unable to shake off that provocation answers in kind.

What ensues cannot be described in words as a heated rap battle that takes place between the “Legend of legends and the winner of three DRB titles, Kabetijin” and “The ghost from the Three Kingdoms Kongming”.

The battle ends in a tie which results in a tiebreaker. The two waste no time in seizing the opportunity to prove who is a better rapper as the crowd goes absolutely crazy, except for Eiko who is rather confused about what she is witnessing.

Kongming uses his words to fire up Kabe and Kabe follows along. The battle gets so very crazy towards the end that we see two generals from the Three Kingdoms duke it out and Kabe ends up as the clear winner.

For the final verse, Kongming breaks out into Chinese poetry where he talks about his predicament and that now all he wishes is to take a certain songstress to the greatest heights possible.

To this verse, Kage responds with a softer one on a similar note, thanking him for pulling him out of the hole he had dug for himself and making him fall in love with rap again.

With this, a satisfied Kongming admits defeat and lets the owner crown Kabetijin as the clear winner.

As per the conditions of the challenge, if Kongming lost he would grant one of Kabe’s wishes. Upon being asked, Kabe tells the team that his wish had already been granted because now he can do what he loves again, which is rap, without abandon.

He also agrees to join Eiko in her dream to be heard on the highest platform for any music icon, Voicell Land.

The very end of the episode shows us how every single move by Kabe was perfectly anticipated and accounted for by Kongming as he had gained enough intel on Kabe in a short enough time to put the FBI to shame.

Kongming very subtly lost the battle but once again, but won the war.
